Early Illinois Transitional Model #3 Silverine open face 18 size lever set pocket watch by Illinois, circa 1875, serial number 98660. Black enamel dial with white Roman numerals, white minute ring and subsidiary constant seconds register. Silverine crescent open face case with golden stag on back. Swing out movement which appears to be a rare transitional model #3 with 15-17 jewels. Dial marked I.W. Co. movement appears to be marked for the retailer, Benedict Brothers, New York. A find for the early Illinois collector.

Double sunk porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals, minute markers and subsidiary constant seconds register with a hairline from the hole and one very small chip at the lever. Yellow gold filled Bunn Special 29 case with nice etching work on the bezel and back edge. 60 hour Bunn Special movement with 21 jewels, 8 adjustments (heat, cold and 6 positions)motor barrel and double roller in good working condition.

Case has the tiniest brassing and dings at the bottom of the band, dial dirty but in excellent condition and watch is in good working condition.

Porcelain Montgomery dial double-sunk with black Arabic numerals minute numerals with 5 minute numerals in red, there is a hairline between the 2 & 3 and several near the 8. Yellow gold-filled hinged back case with elaborate initials on the front cover and the Eagles emblem on the back. 19 jewel fully adjusted lever set movement with safety pinion in a display back in good working condition.
