Early Illinois Transitional Model #3
Silverine open face 18 size lever set pocket watch by Illinois, circa 1875, serial number 98660. Black enamel dial with white Roman numerals, white minute ring and subsidiary constant seconds register. Silverine crescent open face case with golden stag on back. Swing out movement which appears to be a rare transitional model #3 with 15-17 jewels. Dial marked I.W. Co. movement appears to be marked for the retailer, Benedict Brothers, New York. A find for the early Illinois collector.

14k white gold-filled six-sided case 12-13 size by Illinois, serial number 4987217, circa 1926. Metallic dial with raised golden Arabic numerals, minute ring and subsidiary constant seconds register. Unusual 6-sided Fahys 14k white gold-filled case marked Illinois Watch Special Model 165, case back has initial RAH. 19 jewel, adjusted 5 positions motor barrel A. Lincoln movement in good working condition. Case, dial and movement all signed Illinois. A collector's piece.

Yellow gold-filled 12 size open face pocket watch by Illinois Watch Company, circa 1923, serial number 4077046 in original box. Nicely patterned goldtone metallic dial with black Arabic numerals, minute ring and subsidiary constant seconds register. Yellow gold-filled Faheys Bristol hinged back case with etched bezel with initials in a diamond shape on the case back. Clean 19 jewel 3 adjustment Illinois Peerless movement with gold jewel settings and highly damaskeened in good working condition. Original Illinois box in overall good condition with the fabric Illinois runner on the inside ripped on one side.

Yellow gold-filled 16 size railroad open face pocket watch by Illinois, serial number 4850538, circa 1928. Double sunk porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals, minute markers and subsidiary constant seconds register with a hairline from the hole and one very small chip. Yellow gold filled Bunn Special 29 case with nice etching work on the bezel and back edge. 60 hour Bunn Special movement with 21 jewels, 8 adjustments (heat, cold and 6 positions)motor barrel and double roller in good working condition.

Yellow gold-filled 16 size hunter case pocket watch marked Burlington (Sears trademark) made by Illinois, circa 1915, serial number 2785679. Porcelain Montgomery dial double-sunk with black Arabic numerals minute numerals with 5 minute numerals in red, there is a hairline between the 2 & 3 and several near the 8. Yellow gold-filled hinged back case with elaborate initials on the front cover and the Eagles emblem on the back. 19 jewel fully adjusted lever set movement with safety pinion in a display back in good working condition.
