Outstanding 14k yellow gold 16 size hunter case pocket watch by Elgin, circa 1917, serial number 20080295. Clean double-sunk porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals, minute markers and subsidiary constant seconds register. Wonderful near mint (can't be mint as it does not have the original box) 14k yellow gold hunter case with hearts on both covers, the back cover having a centered bird and the front cover an unmarked shield with fully ingraved band -- case is marked Roy 14k, 585 fine, curvette is not marked but tests for 14k. Clean running 17 jewel Elgin movement with double roller. A stunning piece.
