18k yellow gold hunter case pocket watch by Patek Philippe, 48mm diameter, circa 1875, serial number 45800. Porcelain dial with black Roman numerals, minute ring, subsidiary constant seconds register with two small hairlines, one near the V and one between X and XI. Plain polished case with elaborate initials on the front, one being a B and I have no clue for the back initial. Curvette marked No. 45800 Patek Philippe & Co. Geneve. Inner front case is marked 750 and PPCo. Jewelled unmarked Patek movement in excellent working condition (recently overhauled by a master watchmaker). When this watch was made, Patek generally did not sign the movements.
