18k hunter case pocket watch by Jules Jurgensen, circa 1870, serial number 10238, 47mm diameter. 18k yellow gold hinged back case and curvette. Case is engine turned, inner cases and curvette only have markings for Jules Jurgensen and gold content. Clean porcelain dial with black Roman numerals hour markers, minute ring and subsidiary constant seconds register. Pin set high grade Jules Jurgensen movement in good working condition. Case, curvette, dial and movement all signed, with all but the case fully signed Jules Jurgensen Copenhagen. A piece in excellent condition from a wonderful maker.
